LightForce® Laser Therapy

Laser therapy helps reduce pain for a variety of conditions. During the treatment as light enters your tissue, you may experience a deep, soothing warmth.

Typical treatments last around 6 minutes and require multiple treatments for ideal results. Most plans of care benefit from a 6-8 treatment regiment over a period of 2-4 weeks. The ideal volume and frequency is determined by the Doctor. High power lasers deliver light deep into tissues to stimulate a process called photobiomodulation.

As light interacts with cells, it leads to an increase in cellular metabolism, improved circulated to insured tissue and pain relief. With laser therapy, you can experience pain relief and reduced inflammation associated with:
  • TMJ
  • Shoulder pain
  • Neck pain
  • Upper back pain
  • Elbow and joint pain
  • Sciatica
  • Arthritis
  • Sports injuries
  • Soft tissue damage
  • Plantar fasciitis

Laser therapy is endorsed by professional clinical organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO), American
Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and the International Association for the Study of Pain(IASP®) with over 3,000 research studies having been conducted in the field. The LightForce® XPi Deep Tissue Therapy Laser is FDA cleared and represents a great advance in  medical technology. Extracorpeal Focused Shock Wave Therapy

In the body, these high energy acoustic waves stimulate the cells and the body’s intrinsic healing mechanism. In Extracorporeal Focused Shock Wave Therapy, the wave is focused through a lens and transmitted into the body, up to a depth of about 4.7". The F-SW used in physical therapy offer low and medium energy F-SW that are not capable of destroying
any tissue but are helpful in pain therapy treatments. It's safe, a short treatment, non-invasive, and precise. It's also been proven to help improve pain and function in chronic plantar fasciitis.
